I was playing an immense map for the first time, and lo and behold i am blessed with getting these guys. I could have reloaded in an attempt to avoid it however as i'd dealt with them militarily fairly easily (takes forever but their ships use the same weapons and defences) on smaller maps. So i figured. Shouldn't be that bad right?

I just now thought that they were gone from the galaxy...and all of a sudden 4 groups of their ships appear out of nowhere (they can travel 30p/turn) and basically blow up half of my fleet. I have so much money it really doesn't matter, but chasing them around the galaxy isn't fun.

Why wasn't this dealt with in making previous expansions!!!...
