Strategy Forums

We should add a forum branch to this forum, just for players to chat over and create interesting new strategies for the character builds. Reading over that Sedna build in the main forum got me interested, and I wouldn't mind seeing one for every class!

Give us a place that we can randomly throw a decent build in there, and try it out!

Whay do you need an strategy guide? game is gona change a lot every week til it's balanced and stuff...Beta3 is to "make" the game, so there is no point in talking about strategy if there is nothing final.

 

Anyway...just try General forum.

Not for me, but I've seen many poeple on other forums in which I've showed Demigod to, and they were asking how they work, builds, etc. It'd be simple to go to google, type in Demigod, come to this site and see it all, ya?

 

I mean, there's not even a "true" link to that one site, aside this thread.

Game isn't out yet and skills and stuff are being rebuilt, so there is no intention to show the vast public what we are doing here. Closed Beta, remember.

 

Once the game is finished and going gold, you can bet there will be two thousand forums with builds, strategy and stuff.

There is no reason to avoid talking strategy just because skills are changing.  Nothing has changed over the last few patches to dramatically change base strategy with any Demigod.  Each patch brings minor modifications to existing strategy and builds.  It is the fun part of beta.  Figure out how to maximize a DG's potential then figure out what changes need to be made to your gameplay once a new patch hits.  We are at the point in beta where they want us to really dig deep in our game and figure out balance issues.

Kyonu, the General area is fine for strategy if you have any questions or want to bounce build ideas off of people feel free to post.  Also consider hanging out in #demigod through the Impulse community tab.  We're a bunch of weirdos in there but there is a lot of good strat talk in there as well.  I pose questions all the time in chat and get help.
