yes you can. the Player(race name).enitity holds all the race information, you have to add a few things to the galixyscenariodef.galixyscenariodef file. you also need to create a entire new research tree as well as all new ships and whatnot, altho you could copy them over from anoyther file if your just looking to mix and match parts of the existing races. you also got to create new abilities if your going down that route. its a LOT of work and a LOT of testing. its rather easy over all though.

well, depending shadow. getting thing to work as you intend and getting the AI to use them the same way is NOT easy or fast. it takes a LOT of time to tinker with.

  Haha, well... i've found it sometimes easy... haha, or sometimes difficult, depending on what im doing, this last one drove me bonkers, haha, for a few days at least, but in the end, after it was done, it seemed easy, but by then i'd banged my head against the wall for a while.

Well ive started changing the string files but if i add a whole new race will it crash my game?
