So today, i saw that there was an update and i was eager to be able to play with some human opponents... however that was hopes too high
still have the connecting problem...
BUT, i did play 3v3 against computers and i have to say that the updates are really nice!! its much better now than i remember last week! the game seems to flow faster this time around, feels like the units had a little speed boost to them. and i also noticed how voices have been given to the demigods. some of them real crap, but still its an effort! hope they get better like wc3 voices... those are real good imo!
another thing that was cool is the announcer dude saying stuff like "rampaging". i had really hoped it would make its way into demigod and seems like it does! however, i think the announcer voice should be even more over the top! i think there should be an option to choose which announcer voice you would like, and ofc the favourite would be the unreal tournaments announcers! especially the lady from ut2004! she sounds orgasmic!!!! its so much fun when u get crazy kills with the announcer just shouting it out like that! so it *needs* to be over the top. right now the announcer is kinda mediocre...
i also like the increase in items, obviously the increase will just continue and if its anything like stardocks other games, we will probably see a crazy amount of items, which is good, because its gonna make ur playstyle even more unique. i also hoping that recipes will be introduced so that you can get crazy items by combining!
also, i did not find out how to rotate the map? i played the rook and he is so big i wanted to see him crush the small goons, but i couldnt rotate the map to see that.. nothing special, but kinda frustrating when u wanna see your demigod wreak havok!
one last thing off of my mind right now would be that healing potions of any kind should cost ALOT ALOT more! so that you wont rely on them. you have to play it correct or take the trip back to base. right now its so cheap u can just spam them whenever u have low health... it takes away the health management aspect which is crucial in dota (low health and ppl will target u or even gang up on u, so u have to keep health high, but maybe at the cost of losing valueable xp?). also right now, they heal too much, you can just swallow a potion and be full up.
