Hey guys,
I'm a big Maya user and since I havenever used XSI, my art workflow for getting custom models into the game is rather slow.
I used an .obj converter to get my models into XSI, but was wondering if anyone has had any luck with a dotXSI converter plugin for Maya 8? If you found a converter, have you successfully used it and gotten ships and models ingame?

Has anyone used this before? I'd like to do all of my modelling, mesh setup, and material work inside of Maya. It would be nice to learn XSI, I suppose, but I'm speaking purely from the standpoint of conserving time for the sake of getting assets into Sins ASAP and speeding up my art pipeline.
Any advice is appreciated; developers, if you're reading this, have you had any luck with a Maya crossover?
I'll post up my results when I've attempted to bring the mesh over; probably tomorrow.
