Cool, but how about this:
It's a few months down the road and both my friend and I have the expansion. We want to "play vanilla" for a night just to switch it up. Do we need to have installed copies of Sins that aren't updated or can we toggle the expansion in our updated versions? Sure, we can "play vanilla" against people who dont' have the expansion, but what about a head-to-head for people who do?
I only ask because my friend is concerned that Entrenchment might make games longer and cause him to switch up his honed-in strategies. We both welcome change and new strategic twists of the expansion, but we also like having the option to scale back, even after we've scaled forward.
