Ok, im a frequent scroller on the forums and rarely post here, so here is my plea to the Devs. I have already purchased the new expansion that is currently in the works for this game thru impulse. I am asking that you as the developers PLEASE do what you can to help this (i.e. your fanbase and current purchasers of this game) to help lift the limitations with modding in this game. I understand that there are limitations with the current engine of the game. As I stated previously, I have already spent money for the expansion. If there is any way that in the expansion you could reverse some if not all of these limitations I implore you to please do so for the sake of our wonderful mod community. I love this game, but I do hate to tell you guys that I do not and have not played this game without at least 1 mod installed. (soa, distant stars, graphic mod, 7 deadly sins, the list is too large to name them all so if I missed anyone and I know I did, im sorry) That is not to say that the game is bad in any way at all stand alone, or vanilla as stated on our forums. It just means that I have a specific play style that I enjoy playing and is not available to me through the "vanilla" game. There is an expansion in the works which I did pay for. If at all possible thru this new expansion to please do so.I have no problem waiting as long as it takes for the expansion. I am a fan of Devs that take their time and get it right to make a game for their community

If anyone else out there agrees with me please sign this petition here to show all the modders out there in our wonderful community that they have our support. Also, to let the Devs know how we feel about the restrictions imposed on our wonderful game.

p.s. I hate to admit this, but this will be a dealbreaker for me if you release a sose 2 with the same restrictions.
