Didn't use the 20% coupon so far, i received it after i bought everything.
So i don't think i can make use of it since it expires on the 30.Sep 2008.

I would not count on more mult-core support from this micro pack

You don't just "flip a switch" and voila multicore support. Most games dont even do dual core support. It's a huge issue for the industry, because developers are going to have to adapt, and it's not going to be easy.

Sure I understand that dual core support is not an easy endevor or as like flipping a switch.

And it is indicated by Yarlen that dual core support may appear in a later expansion pack.  As I understood it, they're rolling out 3 individual expansions so that users can pick the ones they want and the developers can spend more time polishing each additional faction to be added.

I thought that maybe one or all of these expansions might contain some updated code.

Supreme commander makes quite good use of multiple cores and really RTS games are probably the best suited genre to take advantage of multiple cores.

mmmmmm minefields. Thank goodness they are buffing up Defense. I hate having to run my fleet around everywhere trying to save my planets and it doesn't help that in random maps you don't get that many choke points. I had first read that Asteroid belts and fields could damage and destroy ships, but that turned out to be an error in informationn on the forums. So my response to the three expansions, I WANT THEM ALL!

So is it confirmed that Stardock will be releasing all three expansions as a box set to be purchased in stores? I'm wary about using Paypal since a friend of mine got his account hacked into and all his money stolen.

I really want non jump capable ships (Monitors). As for superweapons, they're not terribly interesting to me, making them more powerful just seems unbalancing.
