Hi all

First post here.  Just been playing against the AI thus far, got owned in my very first game (on easy, ahem) but have turned the tables since then.

I would like to ask, how much time I do need to put aside to play an online game?  Are some (larger?) games suspended and returned to later on, or are they generally played through to a conclusion?  Are such decisions made beforehand (i.e. before the game starts)?
