Questions on connecting nodes in the map builder

I am going for some really particular links between node points on a map I am working on. To keep things nice and simple I would love to be able to have different sections of my map on different stars. I do not want to allow for star to star travel however since it does not allow me to limit which star goes to which star (star A goes to all other stars by default, I want star A to only go to star B and not star C)

Alternatively I wouldn't mind disabling star to star travel if I could link wormholes between the two stars. This would also allow for what I have planned to work out.

Any ideas here? I know this is a little choppy, so feel free to ask questions and I'll try to clear it up a bit.

That is possible but has to be added manually with a text editor at the moment. Look at one of the maps in game that already do this to see how.

What are you using to create your own map with, the map designer doesn't seem to do anything but randomly generate a map after you enter a few variables.

what you do is make your stars, but make your planets out in empty space then move them to were you wont them, but they wont connect to the star but can connect to each other.

Ok, I can confirm that Hyperion's Gates works for what I'm going for (I think), but I cant open any of the premade maps in Galaxy Forge. Any idea why not?

Eh...nevermind I think I'm just getting confused now. Argh

I need point to point movement between stars, but the ability to move only between those points.

Heres the layout Im going for...

Star A <---> Star B
Star B <---> Star C

So C cant get directly to A without going through B first. That kinda thing. I had two ideas to work this. Either having stars only allowing you to go to other stars in a certain order. Or having wormholes do the job and not linking the stars. Is there a way I can manipulate how the game interprets any of this to make it work for what I need?

I was wrong about Hyperion's gates btw, Aincent Gifts is the one that works properly. I'll start by poking around here.
