Talkshow Problem

I've played through several games and have never once been invited to a talkshow.  What gives?  Are they just rare or something?

You probably just aren't seeing them. They are little cameras (red or blue depending on party) that show up on the map and you have to fly to them. They're rather small and you might not see them if you aren't looking for them.

Thank you so much. I'll look for them. I simply thought candidates were invited to them. I hope the next version of TPM has debates. That would be fun.

If you happen to be in a state where the little camera appears at the beginning of a turn, you will be invited automatically. That has happened to me.
