Say Ronin:  I just read another post about changing the looks of the Star Bases.  Are you thinking of doing that as well?  Or just leave the bases as they are?  Sounds like you could make the Star Bases race specific if you wanted.

Are you sure I swear I have seen custom Star bases before, does anyone remember the omega ship packs?  I thought it had them but I could be completely wrong on that.  It would be a nice addition to have the K-series starbases.

ya you can use costome starbases i do but not race pasific starbases

If you look at the postings of Domage and MrKorx.  It is possible to do custom bases.  But it sounds like it is not an easy thing to do at this point,

Yes, I have them in my game.  Only problem is that they work only at the Dark Avatar level.  Will not work for Twilight.

The Founder could work as a civilian ship.  Luxury yaht used for colonies.

Doesn't really fit with the Star Fleet Universe or Star Trek Canon.  As for the Geckodon ship style except for downloading them and notifying you that you have more .xml files then .shipcfg files in the set I haven't done anything to them.

Give any thought to the 22nd Century as well.  Like the NX class?  ( I know the show was a huge disapointment but the time frame is pretty cool) I think it would fit nice to have a Romulan-Earth War campaign attached to the F&E mod.

I've been considering that myself.  I may just include it in the next expansion pack along with Excelsior but when the full mod is released the starting surveyship for the Federation will be the NX class.

Say Ronin:

Now I don't want to start a trivia war here.  Just want to ask a question about the planet names.  I think I see were you are going with this.  But I want to ask to be sure if I am right.  In the old F&E game, there are more than two planets listed for the Hydran's Lyran's and Kzinti.

Hydran:  Hydrax, Hydramax, and Anthraxan

Lyaran:  Lyrantan, Volmark, Bolmark, and Frakmark

Kzinti:  Kzintai, Keevarsh, Vielsalm, and Vronkett

Now I noticed that you went with the Klingon home world and moon as they were listed in "Enterprise" and "ST6 The Undescovered Country".  I am there for thinking that you are changing the other three races to smooth the game setting.  So you don't have to do custom star set ups for the three races.  Am I correct?  Since I am working on the names of planets of the races for you.  This would help alot to know what you are thinking and what to add and not to add.

Well I can never be accused of sticking to a single source.  I do want names that are recognizable.  Remus will look similar to Star Trek Nemesis not the one of F&E which is suppoe to be just like Romulus.

I do want familiar names.  Praxis isn't even a planet.  Its a moon but I'm still making it another planet.

My Romulan ships contain many vessels in the FASA game that are not in F&E.

Still want your list of planets.  I would like every planet in a alien star system to be named not like Romulus IV or something like that.

Nothing is permanent until I post in the library and even that is what updates are for.

Build your list as you see it.  If I feel something has to be changed I'll bring it up.  But I'm flexible.  The list of stars which is used to full up the game is going to be replaced anyway.  Some with your star names and some I have from Prime Directive and Star Trek Star Charts.

Hydrans should be complete and uploaded on Saturday.  Sorry for the delay in ship production but I was on a creative burn out.  I took some of Atlas's stuff he sent and then started to build my own.  Hated everything so I walked away from it for a bit.

Well back to production.  Some of Atlas' classes he submitted are absoultely staying, especially the cargo hulls.  I reworked a few to fit my style:
