I figured out how to do that using the scenario editor. They will hate each other if you use that scenario in the mod.
There is a way to do this *indirectly* straight off default settings when you use a specific pattern of game options. But, it's rather complex.
- Diplomatic relations between races can be defined 'temporarily' on the opponents screen.
- As long as you save a game, leave and return later **WITHOUT** changing the order and locations of the selected opponents, the prefs.ini file has a steady reference of this pattern always ready to deploy.
Say...
Terrans (1) are declared at war with Korx (4), and you always use Drengins to play.
1-2-3-4-5
.6-7-8-9.
No matter who is 2,3,5 and others; the steady slots (1 & 4) will remain At war with each other as long as you don't change any for the opponents and the currently valid prefs.ini file will keep using that status.
