I was friends with the Altarians and the Terran attacked them so I jumped in to help. Then the Yor and Krengin attacked me because they were friends with the Terran. So far so good. I decided after a bit of time I couldn't deal with both Krengin and Yor at once so sent Yor a peace treaty, offering him the extra bells and whistles he wanted. The same turn he redeclares war again ._.

Terran made peace with the Altarians so I called up the Terrans to declare a peace treaty myself. He accepted with a tech from my side thrown in. Sent all my ships at Yor since he'll be at war with me for quite some time yet as he just redeclared war. Krengin have been fighting two of my planets next to them this entire time, I try to send him a message but he refuses. Ok, fine. It's been forever that him and I have been going at it though so it's a little odd.

The Yor are actually the ones that talk to me first and I get another treaty made with them. He honors it this time. With the few remaining ships I have left I send everything up to the Krengin and sit in a stalemate for what seems like forever before he's willing to settle down. Or is he? The turn after we declare peace he tells me he needs to enter the war against me because I'm at war with the Terran. What?!? We've been peaceful for the last ~20 turns. Fine, maybe he's still bitter.

I pummel him some more as I got some more advanced ships rolling out of all my planets. Then he responds with even bigger fleets. Call him up again and tell him this war is silly (I honestly need to get my economy back in place at this point as I'm -600bc and have 34% approval). He accepts it with a tech thrown in on *his* side so he's obviously hurting. Three turns later he jumps back at me because, "I'm at war with his friends, the Terran". At this point it's just stupid. I haven't been at war with the Terrans for over 40 turns now.

Somewhere in all this mess the Korx actually declared war with me but they never did anything and I was being supplied with ships from the Torians way to the south. Torx killed off one of those ships and immediately wanted a peace treaty with me, he must have just been bored and needed to get that out of his system. That little scenario happened toward the beginning of the war. Now odd as that was, the Torians keep sending me ships well after that treaty to "help with the war against the Korx".

Are these all normal behaviors? It seems a little screwy to me.
