Particles for Static and Buff abilities

Anyone have the text files or the know how to remove these?  I'd prefer if I'd only see the bullets flying as opposed to a giant glowing purple ship, for example, when it's repaired with an ability.  I think the particle effects for these types of abilities are 1) kindof cheesy and 2) a waste of particle count

 

FYI i'm using v1.02 because I prefer it.  Thanks

I think the only way to do that is to remove the particle effect references in the .entity files of all the abilities and buffs which have particle effects. It is entirely possible to do that (in fact is on my to-do list for the Last Stand for precisely the same reason) but may require a few hours of work to go through all of them.
