Modding questions.

I've been trying to do some modding but i've hit some snags. When trying to improve the PJI, i can increase the range but when i try to increase the effect, it doesn't make a difference. Also i tried to give the PJI ability to the cielo but it doesn't show up. And i tried to increase the command points for the sova but that doesn't seem to work either. Could someone help me??

As far as the PJI, The effects are contained in two .entity files.

The first is BuffHyperspaceDisruptionSelf which includes the range of the effect. You should have already found that, from what you said above.

The other is BuffHyperspaceDisruptionTarget. The numbers in there is the multiplier applied to the PJI, that will increase the amount of time it takes.

If you have done that, and for the other two problems with Cielos and Sovas, Not sure how you could not see those changes. The Sova is just 1 number and Cielo you should be able to just add the Ability.entity filename to its ability list and should work. As much as I hate to state the obvious, make sure you are modding the right set of files, and that your mod is enabled.

Yeah i have done all that and I have changed all of what i think are the right values. For the cielo, i just copied the name of the ability from the PJI into the abilitys thing

Then, sorry, I'm just not sure where your problem lies. Those things all works just fine for me.

You did put it in a mod folder correctly and activate it right? I don't want to accuse you of stupidity, but most mistakes are obvious mistakes, I should know, I've made enough of them myself

I just restarted the mod from scratch and it works perfectly. There must have been a bug in the original
