Ensign: "Captain? Why does this warship have cathedral sized windows and 40 foot high ceilings?"Captain: "It's better for morale ensign."Ensign: "But with all the money spent on this massive warship, most of it's volume consists of wasted air-"Captain: "Morale ensign! Morale. Also air is important in space"Ensign: "But we could fit a basket ball court in this room alone, that would have been better for morale, and as for air-"Captain: "Quiet ensign, you'll never finish washing all these MASSIVE windows if you keep asking stupid questions."
The biggest problem with the huge windows is armoring them. Sure, you could bolt Repelon to the hull, but how do you armor a window to withstand a direct hit from a Phase Missile while keeping them transparent? Worse, laser attacks will just come through windows!
Irashi have you ever heard of taking things to seriously?
This entire argument was about disproportionate windows on fictional spaceships. Do you realize what a horrendously
serious matter this is, and how much lies at stake? An inch more length to that dreadnought's windows will result in so much more reinforced glass having to be produced, 50 crystal worth of extra resources! *gasp*
