Forgive me if this seems a silly question, but its confusing me =P
I've started to tinker around with the Entity files now and I have a question/problem about the mod path.
"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods"
This is the location of where I'm supposed to put mods. Ok, simple I think. Lets create a folder called 'Test' inside the mods directory and put the gameinfo folder there. I mess around with a few things, save them, then try to load 'Test' in Sins. The game crashes.
After trying a few things, I moved the gameinfo folder from Test into Mods and deleted the Test folder. Sins now sees the 'Gameinfo' folder as a mod. I loaded it, it worked!
Then I added.a 2nd folder (the String folder containing names and descriptions). The game also thinks this is a mod I can activate.
Now I'm confused again, how can you have several mods in this folder with conflicting with each other? I've got 2 mods to activate staying 'Gameinfo' and 'String' in Sins. I can't put them in a seperate folder called 'Test' to seperate any mods I might make or play, because if I try that, the game won't load the mod. Help!
Again apologies if the answer is more obvious than I thought, but I'd appreciate any help.
