How to create neutral colonies in galaxy forge?

If at all possible...

Hello,

Well after trying for a good while on my own, trying to create neutral colonies in Galaxy Forge with the very confusing planet "editor" (adding units etc), I finally gave up and decided to turn to the forums.

The Galaxy forge guide sticky doesn't mention this much. The question is asked but not really answered satisfactory.

Soo... is there any way to do it? Or is the current tool for this too buggy/confusing

It's not really in the current edition of GF. I talked to Zoomba who said Ironclad is planning to release another version in the near future which will have better scenario making options (I actually asked him about militia colonies ).

I haven't figured it out from text files, but if you want a somewhat similar thing, you can edit the text file and set ships around a planet, set Use Default Template to FALSE and the ships owner to "RandomMilitia"
