found the racelogos.tga file. edited it in photoshop. put it back where it belonged. (textures folder that is). fired up the game: no effect. weirdly though I had the same logos as i had before, even though technically they have been completely replaced with my stuff.

what happend here??
some integrated failsafe backup file in some packed texture restore file?

anyone any ideas on this?
