i hope there is an opton to turn umm off cos i like specail weps but i also would like matches without them. what would also be cool if like supremecommander u had a mod drop down list thing so you can coose like cap ships only or somthing that would rule. Or like frigates only. but the games great that would just be cool.

Thats the Vasari one (dunno the name). The TEC one is called the Novalith cannon and there is no screenshot for that one.

those are beta 1/2 screens arnt they? im guessing in the release it will probbly look a tad diferent (those textures look well black compared to the current vas textures)
anyway thats one big ship wonder what ites specs are

I have to guess that the vasari one allows you to access any grav well it targets with a phaseline, mostly because of the way those ships are featured around the gun looking like they're ready to phasejump (or perhaps its the reverse, you can always phase jump *to* it)

Well thats a good idea but... there is a phase gate right there lol. And the ships are facing the wrong way.

1) why would you buy a superweapon (probably very costly) which does exactly what a phasegate does? I mean it has to target an enemy planet.
2) facing away just means they probably retreated.

in any case I'm typing while holding my keyboard on my ankles, I'm done for now.

maby it kills or disables or somthing everything in the gravwell(friend and foe) and so thoose ships had just left before it fired

OR maby its facing the other way?
