Hi, I've actually just bought Galciv2 so no doubt i am really late to the party.

I saw this game around when it first came out and dismissed it as another run of the mill strategy game. I like these kinds of games but nothing about the advertising really grabbed me at the time. Fast forward to today, a little more than a year later and i stumble on a website post by Brian Clevinger who creates the 8 bit theater webcomic that had this link:

After reading this i was really excited and came to this site to read more where i found the Game Examples page. After reading this i pulled out my CC and bought the game within the next 5 minutes.

I just wanted to let you guys know that these stories are POWERFUL marketing tools and that you should really leverage them to your advantage. i only regret that i didnt catch them a year ago when the game first came out. i could have enjoyed this game over the past year rather than being the new kid on the block more than a year later.
