How do you form alliances?

How do you form alliances? The option doesn't seem to be available. I know I have the tech for it.

By the way this game rocks. I was holding off buying this game until I played Space Empires V first. That game ended up tanking. I hope in a year it will be much better. But this game just rules.

Also how do you get multiple troop transports to invade at the same time?

You need 'close' relations with the person you want to ally with.

To get multiple transports in one invasion, put them in a fleet.

Of course, to do THAT, you'd need some logistics tcehs under your belt.

That makes sense about the transports.

So your relations need to be close for that option to appear. Any suggestions on how to get to that level?

My first suggestion would be to use the 'search' function at the top of the page. Had you done that, and typed in 'alliances', you would have been directed to a full page of posts on the subject. Here is a link to one from 2 DAYS AGO. WWW Link

1. Build up a larger military than them. They will be a lot nicer once they realize that you can blow them to bits.
2. Improve your diplomacy score. You can research techs to raise your score (Most yellow techs). There are also some structures that you can build to raise this score as well.

Not always. My last game, for example, was bad. I lost, lost bad. I had about 7 of my 9 trade routes into Torian planets and then, all of a sudden, they attacked me and took over. Actually, I surrendered to the Terrans just to be a dick. Either way, sometimes they just want you dead.
