Hi. I bought yesterday Gal CiV II but I´m having a problem with the movies. With the exception the intro, all the other animations (the first anomaly investigated, the freighter animation, the battleship launch, etc) are choppy. My configuration is:

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 2.01 Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
1 GB RAM

And Gal Civ is at version 1.2

Before wroting this post, I :

a) Went to NVIDIA site and downloaded the latest driver (Version: 91.31, Release Date: 23.6.2006; WHQL Certified, international lanaguage)
Certified I´m using DirectX 9.0c
c) Certified´my video config are 32-bit color (res: 1024 x 768)
c) Rebooted more than once just in case.

I don´t know if the debug.err would help in this case and I´m not sure what to look in the list presented in that file.

So, please, do you have any suggestion as how to fix this 'slow movie" problem? The game otherwise works fine.
