Yes as Ohalland says you need your REAL serial number not the serial number from the manual.
Not the serial number from the manual on the sticker. They may call it a serial number and then ask for a serial number at activation but they dont mean that one!!!!
You have to use that serial number on the website to get your REAL serial number (also called a serial number just to avoid any confusion

) and you use the NEW, REAL serial number to activate the product. Takes seconds really.
So if the number you are trying to use looks like GC2-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx then thats from the manual and its the WRONG one! There are no dashes in the serial number they mean for you to enter. And i dont mean type it in without the dashes!!!! I mean you get a new one that doesnt have any dashes at all.
