I simply don't understand how much of it works.
when I look at a planet it says x from planet, y from population, z from bonuses and then some from empire.
how are these values determined?
How do planets contribute to empire influenece?
How much of empire influence is bonused to a planet?
how do you determine boarders? I've seen empires with only slightly large total influence suddenly adjust at totally swallow 4-5 whole sectors at once totally overwhelming other empires that are producing not much less. Even a new influence tech doesn't explain it as when i research it, my boarders are only adjusted slightly.
What is the effect of an influence starbase? I know that if you build one by an enemy planet in your zone it will help to make it rebel.
But does it help your worlds? do they stack like economy starbase bonuses? It says that it give % bonuses- % of what? How do you know if building an influence base will be enough, there is no good way to see its effects prior to building and they cost 5000 to build (ships and credits).
Whats that number in perentesis by your influence number on planet screen? I thought it was how much X enemy influence the planet is getting (x4 being what is needed for rebeling) but i saw a rebel flag on my planet once with only 2.63 on it.
how long does it take to rebel? is it like 1% chance per turn or a given number of turns?
Please, help- so many questions and very few answers.
