Not sure if this should go to the bug report section b/c I dont know if its a bug or me not understanding some concept of galciv2. When I start a new game (non-campaign), and click on earth, the spending lists teh cost of bc being spent to produce mp and tp. And maintenance is just that, the maintenance cost of buildings on the planet. However, when I click on another planet that I colonized, the spending value is the sum of bc spent to produce mp and tp AND the maintenance. And the maintenance value is what it is supposed to be. Is this a bug?
Also, when I colonize Mars and another planet (class 4), the population never grows beyond a low number (1.9b and 2.19b here respectively). I am producing 5mt/week so that should support 5b people. Also, my approval on these planets is 100%. Does settling on a low class planet limit pop growth? I couldn't find this mentioned anywhere in hte manual.
And finally, when I am not constructing a ship on a planet, then the mp costs are shown in parenthasis b/c it is not actually charging in bc to convert raw resources into mp. But, for some reason, even when I'm not building a project on that planet, I am still getting charged bc to produce hammers. Is this a bug also? And on one more related note, can the mp produced on a planet(shields and hammers) only be used for projects and ships being built on that planet? Or can the unused portion be "given" to another planet I own?
Thanks
