Several bugs I noticed on version 1.0X (the latest one) :
- I invaded the home planet of a minor race (Akilians) and when I got it, its population was suddenly huge (thousands of billions). As a consequence, my influence was suddenly everywhere in the galaxy. The next turn the population was at the planet max so it was ok (except it should have been much lower due to the invasion, of course, but at least the number was realistic), but the influence was still everywhere in the galaxy. I saved the game and reloaded, and the influence was back to normal too...
- When you have several stacked ships, sometimes selecting some of them and clicking 'make fleet' doesn't work, the fleet created includes only one ship. Another bug (maybe the same) is when you click on one of several stacked ships, sometimes the selected ship is not the good one, and you have to click it twice to make the good one appear.
- On spying, sometimes it says the race is working on [Technology name] instead of the real technology (or aren't they researching anything ? If so let's remove this spy message)
- When I'm at war, I talked to another race and wanted to ask them to attack a race i was at war with, but I didn't have the option in the diplomatic screen... as though THEY were already at war with them like I was, which was wrong. I had the option to ask them to attack other races though.
- The galactic council pie chart looks false, the terrans had more votes than many other ones but got a far smaller sector in the graph. The calculation behind looks wrong.
- Sometimes the stat graphs look wrong, with infinite spike or zero spike... It gives a strange look to the graphs.
I think there's a financial exploit too :
- Sell your techs to all the races, especially minor ones, you'll generate a huge cash flow... It works well on the 'normal' level at least. The races should value the techs much more, even the minor races... It shouldn't be so easy to get money from them.
On things I would like to see improved :
- I'd like to know where a nation becomes at war with another, you're never notified when it happens.
- Increase the galactic council influence. Right now the problem is :
1) most of the resolutions don't have a major impact on the game
2) there are often several choices like 'none or 1 or 2 or 3', so that if some races vote '1', and some others vote '2', then the 'none' option usually win since their votes are divided between several options... It doesn't make much sense, the chosen one should be the 'average' of the votes, here it would probably be '1'.
3) they don't meet often enough
- Give more information on the techs and the improvements, make hyperlinks in the way the Civilopedia did. Give more information on the calculations made (the way it works : economy, abilities, etc)
