Research completion times aren't always correct either. I had one tech that showed 1 turn to complete and I had to press the turn button twice. No real biggie, but, I do adjust my domestic settings for optimal performance, not to waste anything if I can.

And I love large planets, great for industrial, merchant or research capitals. I get ones like that and can churn out medium ships in 1 turns or make them into research capitals and focus research for oodles of research points, same for marketing capticals and income. Give me three 15+ planets every game and watch me roar.

And, by the way, the completion times for social projects ARE wrong most of the time (on the planet screen) - with or without slider changes and/or clicking anywhere. It's not the military production I was talking about (your suggestion works there).

Large Planets are hard to manage, believe me. Ever managed some class 72 palnets with full use of 71 tiles?

I was disappointed one game when I found almost no special bonus tiles anywhere, especially on the big planets. But those big planets are awesome -- they can become tax cows or super-productive worlds even WITHOUT bonuses.
