The set-up:
Playing as the Yor, I've been allied with the Drengin and the Korx and am working on weaseling my way between the mighty (and gross) bosoms of the Arceans. My military is too strong for all, but the Arceans, so most of the relations have +Too Busy to go to War With Us. Suffice to say that since everyone was scared of me, I kept building military starbases everywhere so I could roam with evil in my heart.
However, the Altarians declare war on the Drengin (or other way around) before I can set up my infrastructure..
Being the good ally that I am, I join in. This causes those cute little Torians to declare on me (as they are allied with the Altarians). Luckily for me, I'd already had fleets positioned near the Altarians (who were direct neighbors with the Torians) from a previous conquest effort.
I end up taking both sectors down to nothing on my own. No help from either ally. That's fine - my transports are almost out of the shipyards and ready to take what I rightfully deserve. So my fleets are hovering around Toria and Altaria, waiting for the ground troops (as this war was completely unexpected, I was unprepared for an invasion... a lesson I won't forget), when I notice three quiet little transports making their way to Toria... from the Terran Federation!!! Not only did they fly right past my Drengin 'friends' (who were not officially ay war with the Terrans, nor was I), but they DARE intend to steal Toria from under my nose?? Since I can't put up any ... space roadblock, I'm forced to turn my guns on the slightly-less-powerul-than-Yor Terrans, inciting a war simply to stop their transports.
I tell you, there's some serious shadiness going on between those two arch-nemesises...nemesii?... rivals. I can't wait til I kill them both! It's good to be bad.
