I'm enjoying the game so far, but I'm a bit confused by planetary bonus resources. A given square will say, for example, that it gives a 200% bonus to research facilities or farms built on that location. I build a lab or farm there, but it seems to produce exactly the same research or food as a square without a bonus resource.
I've checked a bunch of times in a bunch of different games, but I'm not seeing any effect from these resources at all. Do you need a special kind of high-tech building to profit from them, or what? I'm at a loss.
